Just like Mega Man X7, players bring a duo of Maverick Hunters into each stage however, this time, all three playable characters are available from the get-go, each with their own distinct gameplay style. In addition to gaining special weapons from bosses, players can develop upgrades for the heroes with Metals scattered through the stages and dropped by slain enemies.

Now it's up to X, Zero, and Axl to stop the Mavericks once again and rescue Lumine.Īs you may have guessed by now, the gameplay of X8 is very much like its predecessors as players complete a series of stages and defeat the bosses to earn their special weapon.

Megaman x8 metal glitch Patch#
Making it run properly requires a cracked release, or a patch (currently nonexistent). To date, there is only one non-working game with the Swap Magic 3.3/3.6 set: Rugby League 2 (PAL), which has in-built copy protection which prevents it from working with any modified PS2: hard drive, modchip, or Swap Disc. Please reply if (and how) you've managed to get a non-working game on this list to work with the SM 3.3/3.6 set. Games with the (use good media) note seem to be sensitive to media/burning speeds, or else they may experience freezing or sound glitches.ĭual-layer games do not work, period, and must be ripped to DVD5. Those interested should mainly pay attention to the non-working and patch lists, since the potential count of actual working games may number in the thousands. After all, it's well-documented that 3.6 is simply 3.3 with added USB support. I'll make a wild leap of faith and claim all the working/non-working games should apply to the 3.6 set as well. All games are in original NTSC format unless otherwise noted. This list is by no means close to complete, but it should include most popular (and many non-popular!) games.
